The Eastern Bluebirds here have been active recently! They have been up on electric lines, up on the rain gutter on the roof, and of course in the trees. They also have been swooping and sneaking up on insects in the grass. They are proficient bug-getters! The hens are a little duller in their blue orange and buff coloring than those bright boys. I love hearing their ringing calls. They are amazing, beautiful birds! I took these pictures on February 12, 2013 and again on February 14, 2013 in my yard.
