Just another WordPress.com weblog about Nature and Wildlife

An Eastern Bluebird

Here are a few random views of the little farm that I took this past week.  I enjoy seeing lots of wildlife here.  We have three or four Cotton-tailed Rabbits, a few Eastern Chipmunks, several Grey Squirrels, numerous Canada Geese, a few different kinds of ducks, and many different birds!  I hope you’ll enjoy seeing a few views.  I have included birds and animals plus just plain scenery.  Please click on the thumbnail image to see the larger picture.

  1. Hi Linda, Great pictures from the ‘farm’…. Did I tell you that we now have 5 Bluebird eggs in our nestbox? We now have a new baffle —so hopefully that will keep all of the bluebirds safer from predators… I’ll keep you posted.

Have a great Memorial Day weekend–and stay cool (going to be almost 90 here).. Yipes!!!

    • Hi Betsy, Thanks! So nice to hear of your Bluebird family-to-be. So gad the birds tried again if same pair. Yes, it will be a scorcher. I am happy we have a wide porch and good A.C. inside. Have a wonderful day!
