  1. i like that you have cattle nearby.

    • Hi Theresa, Yes, the family that built the development that i now live in, has a huge ranch here – likely they subdivided a small part of the ranch for this development. They run cattle and horses. There are a lot of thoroughbred horse farms in this county but they are not right near where I live. Have a great day tomorrow!

  2. Nice variety of birds. And I love the turtle. It is always neat to see the cows with the cattle egrets. Great post, have a great eveing.

    • Hi Eileen, I am continually surprised at the variety of birds I am now finding. Same for the small and large animals. Tempting to go and watch the thoroughbred horses when they are close enough to the road at several horse farms in the community. Have only seen a few (Don’t want to stop and gawk at multi-million dollar properties as that’s pretty unwelcome except when open house or special open to the public events happen). Have a super good Thursday tomorrow!

  3. Love the steer and turtle captures! I see yellow on the turtle but no red, must be hidden from the picture.

    • Hi Ginny, Yes the red part on the head was in shadow. I was far enough back away from the turtle so as not to bother its sunning. Have a great day tomorrow!

  4. I see you are making new friends!

  5. The steer was a pleasant bonus subject! 🙂
