  1. A very perky little gal!

    • Hi Montucky, I think so too! Worth the “No-see-um” bites I got when out taking the pictures. Now I use a disc sprayer hooked to my waistband to repel the biting bugs. Have a truly great Thursday tomorrow!

  2. i like these subtle-colored ladies.

  3. They are always such a nice surprise to find, and also here they are around all year, a big bonus!

    • Hi Ginny, Glad you have Northern Cardinals there where you live. They are such a pleasant addition to the yard. Have a wonderful day tomorrow!

  4. Pretty Cardinals, mine are usually shy. Great shots! Have a great evening!

  5. I wish some cardinals would find their way to my woods. Because of the late Spring, I have been blessed with more birds and a wider variety these past few weeks … but, no cardinals.

    • Hi Bearyweather, I hope some Northern Cardinals will fly up North and visit your yard. I took some pictures of a male Northern Cardinal a few minutes ago from my driveway. It was up in an Oak and was singing sincerely and earnestly! Have an excellent evening tonight and a great day tomorrow!

  6. One of my favorite birds- I just had a pair out front calling for peanuts 🙂
