  2. the monarch on the yellow is really pretty!

    • Hi Theresa, Yes, it is a beauty! I saw a swarm of both butterflies and Japanese Beetles or another similar-looking insect that morning, being chased by plenty of birds. Interesting. Have a great 4th tomorrow!

  3. The bluebird reflection picture is just priceless!!! And is that water that the Killdeer is in font of? The butterfly and abundant flowers are just beautiful!

    • Hi Ginny, Yes, the Killdeer was standing in front of a shallow water hazard pond on one of the golf courses here in this development. Have the best 4th of July holiday tomorrow!

  4. Hi Linda, Your sweet little bird photos are GREAT…. Glad you are enjoying the Florida life. Still rainy and fairly cool up here…

Hope you all have a great 4th.
    Hugs,
    Betsy

    • Hi Betsy, Hope you dry out – us too! Have a great day tomorrow and enjoy the fireworks if you go out. We will see fireworks here if it does not rain (iffy!).

  5. Wonderful variety! Love the birds and the butterfly, great shots. Happy 4th of July to you!

  6. I wish I had cardinals to watch. Have a nice weekend.

  7. Looks like the Bluebird has found a friend 🙂

  8. Loved the colorful variety, great captures! Dr. Killdeer must’ve been out for a round or two of golf! 🙂 I purposely went to try and photograph a killdeer family on my way to the grocery store today, I got a couple shots but they were too far off for me, I’ll have to return again. Saw them couple days ago while biking, OMG almost ran over them that day, didn’t know they were there. And I didn’t have my camera either of course, isn’t that how it goes??!!! lol
