More Palm Warblers

DSC_7352

Palm Warblers are here in a big way for such a tiny bird.  We have a lot of these cuties here in this neighborhood.  The Palm Warblers flit around in the Oaks and also swoop down to the ground to hunt for tasty insects.  The Palm Warblers are here with the Carolina Chickadees, Tufted Titmice, and the Carolina Wrens.

I mostly seem to see either Palm Warblers or Crows out and about.  These likely are here in larger numbers than the other songbirds, or at least in this particular neighborhood.  The weather here is warm and sunny.  I took these pictures in my back yard on December 7, 2013.  Please click on the thumbnail image to see the larger picture.  Enjoy!

  1. I wish I could be there enjoying your Palm Warblers and warm weather. We had 7inches of snow yesterday and freezing rain on top of the snow. Love your Warbler shots, great photos. Have a happy day and new week ahead!

    • Hi Eileen, I thought of you when watching the football game on TV yesterday. Yes, it has been in the low 80’s here. It may rain but that would be welcomed. Have a super good day tomorrow. Bundle up and enjoy!

  2. cute little ones. 🙂

  3. You know, we have all these other birds you mentioned, but I have never seen a Palm Warbler! Maybe because we have no palms??
