These cuties are Buff Orpington domestic farm ducks. I took these pictures while briefly camping at a KOA RV Park in Forsyth, Georgia earlier this month. These are really sweet ducks! If I am not incorrect, this breed originated in Great Britain and was imported here to the U.S.A. many years ago.
I guess so many visitors are around the pond at this campground that the ducks expect a handout from humans approaching the water’s edge. No such luck from me. There also were several families of Canada Geese at this small pond. I think it is fun to see different breeds of ducks, even if the ducks shown here, are domestic and not wild.
