  1. i LOVE the shot in the center, top row. cormorants in the back, pelican and whistlers and even a pair of wood ducks. 🙂

    • Hi Theresa, Yes, unique scene. I was by the park this afternoon on my way home from a quick trip to Jacksonville and saw that the crowd (birds) has thinned a bit. Probably from having less fish in the ponds and the presence of that pair of Bald Eagles (Which i did see again today). No Wood Stork but did see Muscovy Ducklings.

  2. I can’t get over that big wood stork!

    • Hi Montucky, Surprisingly he or she was quite placid and just sat while I snapped my pictures from an appropriate distance. I think there have been so many people visiting the park due to normal use plus the added presence of all these birds, that the birds now just take it in stride when people take pictures. Have a wonderful Thursday tomorrow!

  3. Wow, what a great variety of birds in this park… I love the same photo that Tex mentioned above.. And the Whistling Ducks are always a favorite of mine.. Great post and photos. Have a happy Thursday!
