Comments on: "Wordless Wednesday: A White Ibis" (7)

  1. I took these pictures yesterday morning between rain squalls. The Ibis was alone and meandering around my street, yard to yard.

  2. hoping the hurricanes won’t impact you too much there!

  3. It’s so interesting to see that it would seem so at home in people’s yards! Such a bird-friendly place!

    • Hi Montucky, Yes, at first it is so unusual to experience seeing the big birds in a yard, that one gets alarmed. The ibises are harmless (for the general part and I have never heard otherwise) and eat a lot of insects. They are pleasant but occasionally do leave droppings on driveways. I especially like watching the ibises stroll around. Have a great day!

  4. Hello, I hope you stay safe with this storm coming. Great shots of the Ibis! Happy Thursday, enjoy your day!

    • Hi Eileen, Many thanks! Those two ibises are still hanging around – little sweeties! Of course, the moment I wrote this, off they flew. Bad weather to the West and East and so far, good here. Just a little rain. My eyes and ears are on the forecasts and news so we are prepared. Have a good day tomorrow!
