White Ibis at Silver Lake Park Pond

This evening here in The Villages, FL, I took a bunch of photographs of various wading birds, water birds, and waterfowl at several small ponds and small lakes.  We had a partial view of the Solar Eclipse yesterday but it only got a little dim; about like it would be at say, 6:00PM here (same as when I snapped these photographs tonight).  Please click on the thumbnail image to see the slightly larger version of the photo.  Enjoy!

  1. I wonder what they thought of the eclipse.

    • Hi Montucky, Yes, it probably was not a huge difficulty or confusion here – more like a bunch of dark clouds minus of course, the clouds. Our home’s yard lamp did not even come on and none of the street lamps did either. Have a wonderful day tomorrow. Thanks for your always appreciated comments!

  2. Hi all, I am so glad I looked at my “Spam” files and behold: Wildlifewatcher’s blog comments. I do not know why these were marked as spam. Hmm. I will check a couple times daily so this does not happen again. Linda (Wildlifewatcher)
